Turkey Chili

1 lb. ground turkey

1.5 t. olive oil

1 small onion, chopped

1.5 C. chicken broth

1-28oz. can diced or crushed tomatoes

1-16oz. can kidney beans

1 T. garlic, minced

2 T. chili powder

½ t. oregano

½ t. paprika

½ t. cayenne pepper

½ t. cumin

½ t. salt

½ t. pepper

Garnish options: sour cream, greek yogurt, lime wedges, cilantro, cheese, avocado


1Heat oil in large pot over medium heat.

2Add turkey and stir often to brown.

3Drain any grease.

4Add onion and cook until softened.

5Pour broth in, add all other ingredients.

6Bring to a boil.

7Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes.

8Serve with garnishes of your choice.
