Nutty Chocolate Pomegranate Oatmeal

Ingredients

1 cup steel cut oats or old-fashioned oats, prepared with water or unsweetened vanilla almond milk (our recommendation) 

1 T. shelled pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

1 T. walnuts

3 T. pomegranate seeds (we used frozen)

1 T. peanut or almond butter

2 t. wheat germ

2 t. flax meal

1 T. dark chocolate chunks or chips. *We used Enjoy Life chips or chunks for a dairy free option.

cinnamon, generous sprinkle

Directions

1Pour prepared oatmeal in a bowl and begin laying line by line on top: pumpkin seeds, walnuts, pomegranate seeds, nut butter, flax meal, wheat germ, chocolate bits.

2Top with cinnamon sprinkle.
